Any CCSVI (MRV and Doppler) testing facility in India

Post by manojag22 »

Does any one knows, if there anyone has a training to perform MRV and Doppler for CCSVI in India,

I got myself tested for CCSVI in Mumbai, but both tests came out ot be negative, I'm not sure if they are done properly.

Please also tell me if I can send these reports to someone for their expert evaaluation.

Also, which will be the nearest center near Mumbai/India where I ca again go for these tests and how much they will cost me.

Cheers

I am in India too, in Chennai. In case you dont know, it seems that the an agency in Canada is offering trips to Indian for Canadian citizens for liberation treatment. I believe that work will be done in Apollo in Chennai. If you can share more history/info on the type of scans you have done, the department etc, I can connect with Chennai Apollo (and other hospitals here) and find out whatever details I can ...

Hi,

Thanks for reply and information. its good to hear that I can get the sacn, Doppler done at Chennai without travelling to Europe, US or Canada.

Pls allow me a day or two and I'll provide all the details of my tests and the copy of scan too.

Thanks again, Manoj :)

Thanks. I downloaded the zipx and uncompressed these (report, DOPLER and mri). Somehow when I try to uncompress these further, checksum error is reported by the tool.

1) since the size dont seem to be too high, try putting direct files
2) in any case you can tell how you went about getting this done, what department did the testing etc. So that I can call up the right people and ask them directly

Manoj, what are the files that you are putting into the mri.zipx archive?

Are they jpg files?

The MRI zip file contents

Post by manojag22 »

Hi,

The MRI zip file contains all the scan files from TESLA 1.5 machine, they are not JPG file. One need a software for analysing them.

These file are in DICOM file format. There free software such as ezDICOM, MRIcro available to read and analyze them. The advantage is with these file in compare to JPG is that you can analyse them.

Give me sometime to explore this.
Another suggestion, can you start a thread asking (basically contact info etc.) if you can post these scans to experts outside India and see what they have to say.

Hi Manoj,

I am not sure how far you have been able to get.
But here is a link to a hospital in Chennai which at the outset looks promising. This is MIOT hospital which is known for quality (not so much in terms of long queue of patients etc.)

Please see the attached link and go down all the way to "Intracranial angioplasty / stenting"

I could speak with them but I thought you can definitely give better first hand info them.
