Copaxone Availability

Postby Abacus » Tue Jun 07, 2011 7:13 am

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help me with an unusual question... :? I am a German postdoc and wondering whether to apply to a postdoc position in the Republic of Ireland. I have MS and have taken Copaxone for nearly 8 years; it seems to work very well and I have had only one acute episode since. So I wonder whether Copaxone is available in Ireland to everyone who needs it? I mean, considering the cost, are there people who are denied this drug? I also considered a position in England, but I know that NICE believes it is not cost efficient. Since it works so well for me, I don't want to be forced off it, though. I would appreciate any information / help you may have on this. Thank you so much!
Best wishes to everyone :) Abacus
