jimmy, I'm sorry to hear about your job, and your home. This economy blows, but maybe all those smug economics commentators will be right about Canada's economy being in relatively good shape and you'll find a new job fast.

jimmylegs, you have always been a big help to me with information and support. I will pray that a job of your dream finds you soon. Please don't despair. I hope to soon find published papers by you about nutritional supplements and healthy living!

Your internet friend, Sandy Kay

Sorry to hear that, JL. Hopefully you will find something soon. With the research skills and knowledge you've shown just at TIMS, I'm sure that you're more than qualified for a lot of things.

thanks guys.

someone at work who knows about my troubles gave me a bit of money today.. made up the bit i was missing for tomorrow's rent. i helped her use nutrition to get pregnant after a year and a half trying without success. baby's due later this year. at least now it's august 1st to worry about not july 1st!!

px, i think being more than qualified is in some cases, exactly the problem. in others, differently qualified. or, i was qualified 10 years ago but haven't done anything in that field since.

oh well. in the short term i'm going to try for some music students, it's the best hourly rate available in the absence of a real full time permanent job with benefits ... but not the best time of year to attract new customers. i've just decided to add singing to my repertoire of lessons making me a triple threat of sorts LOL hope that will help.

thanks again for the kind words all.

Well, I really hope you find something. Perhaps you ought to write a book on nutrition and supplementation? You helped a woman with her pregnancy, perhaps you could help many more in writing a book?
