Hi! I'm not exactly sure what can be done to help you problem but I know of a sight that may prove helpful. The National Association for Continence posts blogs and provide quite a bit of information on this topic. You should check out their sight www.nafc.org. I think you'll find some helpful tips there.

Wish you the best!

what enables BM for me would be, say, vanilla yogurt, followed by hot cereal with a few choco-bits melting inside. Then perhaps 4 oz. of weak Colombia-Arabica coffee, with low-fat milk & turbinado mixed in.

hi there,

a glycerin suppository in the morning or in the evening to encourage a BM is totally fine--there's even a name for what you are doing: bowel program. people with spinal cord injuries are required to do this every day or every other day to maintain bowel regularity and continence. hopefully, once your body gets used to the routine you can stop taking the suppository and just use diet and supplements to keep you regular. if the glycerin doesn't work you could talk to your doc about getting a suppository with medication in it too.
