finally using my decades-old race coaching certification to get a team of little mini-athletes ski racing :D don't know why i didn't leave my old hill w/ all its barriers sooner, this winter is AMAZING :D wheee!!! sat and sun coaching the race team, monday&tuesday days teaching little guys in groups, tuesday&wednesday nights teaching private lessons, plus some other midweek races and school groups to look after. busy busy! excellent :D :D :D long days on tues and wed, but most thursdays and fridays off. those will be my days for level three training and getting more hours in on a snow board. finally!!

Even if you did not have MS, carpe diem!

lol! thanks :D

it was so fun this week, was on race crew three days (one high school race, two fun races for adults), even got in a little friendly competition in the dual slalom myself yesterday, trying to catch up with a really hot racer (couldn't) and a smart aleck who sprang out of the start WAY early (edged past him at the finish, yeehaw!).

i still can't feel my feet 100%.. but WHO CARES i can feel them enough to have a good time : and i almost caught up with that level 4.. one of these days i tell ya :D :D :D

WHEW! just wrapped up week 8 of the 9-wk racing program, our crew of mini athletes are all registered for the big club champs next weekend. team party, awards night, and a team member's bday celebration all pending too. fingers, toes and eyes all crossed that the snow holds on for a great march break camp! how did that winter zoom by so fast?!?!?!

back from san juan. got my imaginary future healing scenario sort of shut down today. i had had surgery in front of me as a strong possibility before, but today they started playing down chances of full recovery, and attaching real date ranges to surgery in the nearer future... i am sad, grieving the loss of my poor knee :(

That sucks, jimmy. So sorry. Why can't they glue you back together like they did Tiger's new girlfriend...Lindsey Vonn(???)? Will some extra zinc fix it? Maybe some mag or d? Don't lose hope. You've kept ms at bay...thinking a blown knee is child's play compared to that!
