I finally got to see it with that last link. Powerful. It's not the 9,999 times you don't need it. It's the one time that you do. And since our constitution is our constitution, playing with the words is a slippery slope to start on. You gotta' love Penn & Teller's explanation at the end. Imagine all the tax dollars that were spent trying to figure out a way to make a simple sentence interpreted in a different fashion than it was really written. What a waste. Law abiding citizens are simply that. They don't use their guns on people except in defense. Criminals are simply that. They don't obey the law and when the two collide, it's better to be ready to defend yourself. They also could give a rat's ass about gun control laws. Why would that be the only law they follow? I'm an ex hockey player and I'll fight anyone bent on harming me because I've been hurt before and it's not so intimidating after you've had your butt handed to you a few times. But a 130 pound skinny ass crackhead can take me down with a gun. Can you imagine someone breaking in your house with guns wanting to harm your family and the only thing you can do is reason with them? I can't. Thank you founding fathers.

Hey Loubbie, I took my concealed handgun class about three weeks ago and am awaiting my license now. The only reason I took the course is to be able to "legally" carry it on my person. I carry a handgun in my vehicle anyhow. There is just to much bad in this world not to. We are preparing to evacuate because of this hurricane and I will for sure have mine. The criminal element already has theirs!! The class was a real eye opener as far as the laws about carrying a handgun. You really become liable for alot and it is for sure a last resort. I am a peaceful person and hate to think about actually having to use deadly force. I am a big guy and if someone wanted to whip my ass then they would have it to do, but endanger my family and there would be no question of what I would do. I am not a gun freak, but do enjoy shooting at the range and occasionally hunting birds (dove and duck). I have not been deer hunting in years so that I have kinda lost a passion for. I feel sorry for Mrs. Hupp it had to be a hard thing to lose both parents to the hands of a mad man knowing that she had a weapon in her car. She was very well spoken in that video. Well I'm off to prepare for evacuating, Late arti

That many car burglaries and burglary with a firearm and only looking at three years? Texas is usually in the lead with punishment to.
