My wife doesn't spend much time thinking about having MS and in that light it doesn't run her life.

At 22 years old you need to live life as a young person, enjoy yourself and focus on the future. Don't sit and wait for MS to ruin your life, make it have to catch you!

Ioanna--I am probably not the best one here to respond to your post. Other people are much better at expressing themselves, but I want to try.

Do not hesitate to express your thoughts and fears here. We have had the same thoughts and fears; we do not have the answers, but we know it helps just to say them outloud. We go on because we really have no choice, no real control over the situation. The future is scary. Friends and family offer the best support. Most of us have given the help to others; it is difficult to be on the receiving end.

You have been strong in the past; you will find the strength to deal with this now, I know. But you will have times when tears come--it's normal, it's human. We know.
