Results of a six-month study at Johns Hopkins University were presented March 13 at an American Heart Association scientific meeting in San Diego:

"Overall, there was an improvement in vascular health that was related to how much abdominal fat was lost,"

"The more belly fat the participants lost, the better their arteries were able to expand when needed, allowing more blood to flow more freely." http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life ... 262921.cms

Insulin is obviously involved; in my opinion, this study implicates insulin with artery health.
