DRI resources these tables will help you decide how much you need of any given nutrient.
caveat: many of these intakes are designed to prevent outright deficiency, not to prevent suboptimal 'subclinical' health issues.
consider achieving the day's recommended amount a 50% grade on an assignment. a minimum achievement to prevent outright failure.
daily upper limits (UL column at the canadian links, a separate file for the u.s. version, accessible via the overview link) apply to supplements, not to intakes from food sources.

take control of your own health
pursue optimal self care at least as actively as a diagnosis
ask for referrals to preventive health care specialists eg dietitians
don't let suboptimal self care muddy any underlying diagnostic picture!
