"The Holy Grail" -- Continuation of Nanoparticle research

Post by plethora »

Anyone else excited about this? Some results from the first clinical trial based on the nanoparticle research first published this last November.

"A phase 1 clinical trial for the first treatment to reset the immune system of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients showed the therapy was safe and dramatically reduced patients' immune systems' reactivity to myelin by 50 to 75 percent, according to new Northwestern Medicine research."

First we should known why there are immune cells in the CNS, what happens to the BBB, and wich immune cells are responsible for the attack. It is not even known wether they are B or T cells
