My doctor told me today, regardless of what Biogen says, PML seems to be caused, or greatly increases your chances, if you have what is called the JV virus. He said within three months they will have a blood test to actually check for the virus. If you have the virus Tysabri is not a good option for you. If you are clear the chances of PML are very, very, low and Ty should offer no issues.

Chris,
I have heard that as well about the JC virus (I think it's JC), but I also heard that it's about as prevelant in the general public as EBV, so I guess I'll wait and see how this turns out!
