In MS there is often strength but not stamina. It is notorious for episodes of unexplained fatigue or malaise - sometimes as a reaction to heat. I never have hot baths because afterwards my temperature rises as if I have a very mild fever and when this dies away I have a debilitating fatigue that can last days.

If your recurring fever and malaise is very severe could it be something completely different such as malaria? Hormone problems such as thyroid dysfunction can also cause unusual body temperatures.

For the past few years I get a random fever and malaise like I am coming down with the flu but it goes after one day. I don't get sore throats or headaches, just a feeling of shivering with fever and that flu is coming feeling.

Actually, come to think of it, I've been getting the same thing myself over the past few months.
