I am taking compounded 4-AP (7.5 mg three times per day) and am about to start a run of oral prednisone (1250 mg every second day for 10 days). Is there any reason why taking these two together should be a problem? Ampyra is not approved in Canada yet and my compounding pharmacy said they had no data.

I do not know of any. i have taken the two together before with no problems, but not such a HIGH 8O dose of prednisone. I do a monthly pulse of 75mg a day for three days.

I have to ask, how often do you take this dosage of prednisone?
