I was just wondering what the difference was between PML and MS. The symptoms of both seem to be almost identical.

PML is kinda like MS on steroids. It is very rapid and very diffuse. You won't have "mild numbness" with PML.

Thanks for the response. I've had some mild numbness for about a year so I think it's safe to assume I don't have it, MS is scary enough in it's self!

Initial signs of PML can resemble Alzheimer's and some PML patients have been, initially, misdiagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia.
