I've been having a small relapse for the last 2 weeks. Some numbness in the legs and skin feels a little numb hard to explain. Anyway I was feeling energetic 2 weeks before and now I am exhausted again. Any tips on how to increase my energy? Hard to stay productive when all I can think about is laying down at home watching some TV.

I have a problem with my IGF levels which my doctor believes HGH could help. Still waiting on insurance approval... they denied me and I need to take more tests to prove I have a real deficiency.

Other options are Modafinil or Adderal. Never tried them and I only want to use them if there are no other options.

FORCE yourself into daily excersize. Whatever it is you are able to do, just do it, regularly. You will have more energy during the day and sleep better at night. If I miss it for a few days, I can feel my body exhaustion starting to kick back in.

I have to agree with this...Although it is hard some days a little exercise is definitely the best medicine. You just gotta do it. You have to find the motivation to make yourself do it, there are some days when a hot shower and bed sound like the best medicine, but I know that if I miss one day that will lead to two days, and so on....

Just hang a poster or watch a movie or listen to a song that will motivate you in your own way. I like rocky 4 if I watch a movie, or some eminem for music...just some thoughts, do what feels right for you.

The exercise thing is true, even though I'm sitting here thinking of excuses why I can't go swimming tomorrow.

The thing I repeat to myself is that is not likely much more of a battle for someone WITH MS than it is for the average 53 YO to force that crowbar betweenme and the couch, except we Do have more built in excuses, pain fatigue etc.
This IS however a place where I feel like I'm really taking control back, and getting a small win ...
