I would like to hear some opinions on what some of you think. Four years ago, my eyes felt weird and I had headaches and I would twitch a bit, but nothing noticeable to anybody else. This went on for 2 or 3 months. I also felt a bit jittery/jerky, but nothing noticeable to anybody else. My eyes felt like they were going back and forth very quickly, so I went to the optometrist, and he said that he did notice them moving back and forth, but only under a microscope. He said everything looked normal though. So then I went to a neurologist, and he said he thought that I was just having migraines, but not having the really bad migraines, just the side effects of them. But he ordered an MRI just to make sure it wasn't something else he said. I had the MRI done with the contrast injection, and everything looked good. On the paper that came with the MRI, it gave a paragraph of the results and the last sentence said "no evidence to suggest demyelination". These symptoms went away soon after. But, four years later (present day), the eyes feeling weird and the jittery/jerky/twitching feeling is back, but with no headache, although, I occasionally get them once in a while, just not like last time. I would like to know what you guys think about it. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

ps- I would sometimes get a feeling like going down the drop on a roller coaster. I don't know what that is. :?

Sometimes I feel like the floor underneath me is going up and down like in an elevator. It's a strange sensation. With me, it could be due to MS or it could be due to something else. I just don't know. I've never gotten a definitive answer from a doctor. Fortunately, it doesn't happen too often.

Thanks for the reply. I greatly appreciate it. Does anybody else think this is MS or not? If not, what else could be causing this in your opinion? Thanks!

Did you consider going back to your neurologist for a followup? When I was going through testing my neurologist told me that the symptoms of MS varied tremendously from person to person and they overlapped with so many other diseases making it very difficult to diagnose at times. That said, although it is not impossible, it would be rare for you to have MS and have a negative brain MRI. How is that for a vague answer!!! Good luck and keep us posted.

Thank you so much for the reply! I'm wondering if eye stress can cause you to twitch and feel jittery and jerky. Because the eyes feeling weird is the first thing I noticed on this "relapse". Do you think that could cause that? I heard that lesions may not show up when you first have MS symptoms on an MRI. Is this true? Because I got an MRI two months after the symptoms showed up the first time. Thanks for all the help!
