Placebo fraud in clinical trials?

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Placebo fraud in clinical trials?

Post by HarryZ »

This is an interesting article, to say the least!

http://www.naturalnews.com/030209_place ... fraud.html

We know that the MS drug companies hang their hats on the drug vs placebo trials to obtain approval and then market their medications for MS.

Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it!

Hi Harry,

Thank you for posting this article. I'm disgusted by the 92% figure quoted in the article and with all the doctors, researchers, and peer-reviewers who let this happen. Clearly, it's time for some drastic measures...

I never thought I'd say this, but here goes...

CALLING ALL TIMS' SKEPTICS!!! CALLING ALL TIMS' SKEPTICS!!!

Skeptics, you are needed to investigate the placebo pills used in the clinical trials of the new oral MS med, the new MS "walking" pill, the CRABs, and Tysabri.

Forward march!

Not all drugs are compared with a placebo - in the EU for example they are compared with other drugs and have to prove more efficient (e.g. campath vs rebif)
