Hi everyone. I am working with a man with M.S. who is facing the possibility of needing an internal/permanent catheter sometime in the future. The doctor said that some people wind up not needing them, and there is a possibility that my friend won't need one. We are wondering about how to make this possibility a reality. Basically, he is facing the need to minimize damage to himself when he uses disposable catheters. Is there something he can do to avoid damage? To heal the urethra, etc?

Thanks so much!

I would be interested in hearing an answer to this as well.
