This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

So I have met many people online with MS and made some good friends etc. But I would like to get a little more involved in the MS community, I want to meet people in person not just online.

What should I do? Where should I look?
Are there organizations out there I should be looking into?
I am in SoCal (Riverside/LA Area)

You can join a MS Walk in 2011, here's the link www.walkMSsocal.org. You can also become a fan of the National MS Society on FB. I know there's a support group here in Southern Cali that meets every now and then, I think they even meet in Riverside. You'll find people on that page involved in those meetings.

I live in Southern Cal as well but I don't attend those support groups. I do participate in the walk though, you are more than welcome to join my team, it's called Team Sarah - A Step in the Right Direction.
