I got a phone call from my brother yesterday. He was dx'd with ON. His eye doc sent him for an MRI and a follow up with a neuro. The neuro said there was no evidence of demylination but he had a hemorrhage in the back of his left eye optic nerve. I am so relieved because I never ever want anyone in my family to get what I have but what could cause the hemorrhage? He's thin and has normal blood pressure (42 years old) and carries on a pretty healthy lifestyle. He also hasn't lifted anything heavy.
Any ideas?

Hi Marica,
You may want to send a PM to EyeDoc. Although he hasn't posted since July, I hope that he will get the message.
