Here is a poem one of my friends posted on Facebook. I hope everyone has a peaceful and pain free New Year! It is a privilege to know each and everyone of you and lets all hope for some big breakthroughs in MS research in the coming year!

A New Year Poem


To find myself this coming year

I will absolve myself of fear.

Into the lake of hope I’ll plunge

And find myself amongst the grunge

Of past regrets and things gone by

My soul once freed, again shall fly.

And stepping out into the sun

I’ll see the way things can become.

With resolution as my friend

My failing heart will beat again.

And warmth and joy will overspill

Into the void I have to fill.

With all that’s right and sure and true

I’ll make my way into the new;

A little wiser from my woes

And stronger yet against my foes.

I seek no pity for the past,

For battles lost; for loves long fast.

I’ll feast again on life and love

With wisdom that will rise above

All challenges all obstacles,

My cup will once again be full.

This new years night I pledge me now

The coming year will meet this vow
