It's good to see that some benefit from MS. Schering, who manufacture Betaferon, have posted better than expected profits. Betaferon sales have increased by 8%. Not sure if that means that more people are being diagnosed with this disease and are being put on treatment or that they have put their prices up.

Probably a combination of things, bromley. But I'd hazard a guess it's because within the last few months, neuros have started prescribing double-dose Betaseron (double the dose, double the profits) and prescribing it more often to secondary progressive MSers.
