I was diagnosis with MS when my daughter was in second grade, she has just gotten her master's and is in south Africa in the Peace Corp, so you can see I have had this problem for a while. When I first got sick my left side of my body went numb, didn't take long at all till my doctors told me I had MS. Did the betaseron and all the usually meds, but after a few years, symptom free I being my own doctor, even though my degree is in social work, I took myself off all the drugs and just saw a general doctor, who really didn't give a care about my health one way or another. I sure didn't think I would be bothered anymore by this nasty disease, I mean really, I already have diabetes. Than about 6 to 7 years ago I started to have seizures, well guess who is back, but the thing is, I always thought the usually symptoms, you know numbness, tingling, but seizures. I am not suppose to drive, I have to be seizure free for 6 months, just the icing on the cake. The doc says I have a couple of small lesions and than one old big boy that seems to be causing my problems. When I was first dx I had an MRI on my brain and spine, this time just on the brain and I guess that was bad enough, why look for anything else, who knows. This has effected my moods, talk about depression, WOW, this is a whole new level that is horrible. They are trying to control my seizures with a lovely samples of heavy drugs, my memory is shot, I just never saw this coming, this took me by surprise. I just want this all to go away, and wake up feeling normal like my old self. Oh and just this past three months I have had some manic behavior, where I feel like someone has shot me up with speed, just this past week, I have come down and am tired all the damn time. I hate having these mental issues, to be honest it feels like I am on the edge of insanity.

Hi! KiKi

If it is type 2 diabetes Candidiasis can cause it, plus it can effect mood.
I posted some info on here take a look yeah! you've got nothing to lose. Its info from Oasis centre houston Texas.

Also it can cause depression and cronic fatigue. it can cause a whole load of symptoms, it even mimics Rheumatoid Arthritus., just take a look and make up your own mind ok

I'll try and paste you a list of symptoms from my blog in a minute, I lost it but I'll find it again.

Fiona

Have you checked into possibly having Lyme and Bartonella? One day my cousin woke up an insane raging maniac and after 13 years of MS I discovered he was misdiagnosed and has since tested positive for Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia. Over 2 years later on antibiotics, the improvement is miraculous! Lesions have diminished in size and intensity and others are gone. Minocycline was the workhorse, but you should check out the antibiotic protocol by Dr. Wheldon. And just be aware that you will get worse before you get better on the antibiotic protocol. Educate yourself on the controversy of Lyme Disease. It's starting to get more publicity, the greatest health threat of our time, misdiagnosed for over 300 diseases!!

Hi!

Just because my probs are caused by Atlas and Candida, doesnt mean you are the same as me.

Yes lymes is a possibility, it is caused by a bit from a tic and goes unoticed. I have also researched it, I'll get some info from my blog and post it on forum, I'm glad Bartman just reminded me of it.

I'm sorry Kiki you are going through this... I just went through a whole year of dxing seizures, not driving and meds. It's awful and I share your heart!
Not sure what's worse, not driving or the debilitating cognitive/emotional effect of the seizures...
