Very interesting. I live in Australia, and actually think I remember getting a request for a blood test to participate in a large genetic study at a hospital in this area (ie Westmead); I can not remember if I did.

It was also interesting (and saddening) that she died, with the implication that it was her MS that caused it... :?

The other thing I noticed is that this news report was on a Govt. run channel (ie not the largest number of viewers) but I think a fairly popular show during prime time ("The 7:30 report", cross between news and current affairs I think)
