Any good Neurologist (MS Specialist) in that area that anyone can recommend? Preferably one that listens and knows what the hell he's doing. =) It's a possibility that our next duty station will be there and we sort of have the upper hand right now with where the Army where put us. If there aren't any good docs there, we're not going.

Thanks!

I can't help you with any Virginia neurologists. However, just want to point out that you will be closer to Vanderbilt University (Nashville TN) than where you are now and they have a great MS clinic. I see a neuro there once a year (I fly up from FL) . I know of one other person who lives in VA and she also goes to Vanderbilt once or twice a year to see the same neurologist. So if you don't end up finding exactly what you want in a neuro in VA this might be an option. I have a local neurologist in case I need someone quickly but like to have the MS specialist at Vanderbilt. You might be able to do the same in VA.

In addition to any response you might get here, why not try calling the local Virginia chapter of the MS society and see if they can offer a recomendation for a good neuro or perhaps put you in touch with some patients there that are willing to share their experiences?
