my wife purchased a walk aide for herself about 3 months ago but only has used it for 2 wks. she can't use it because she has recently has had a relapse with her ms. we were wondering if anyone is looking for a walk aide which is practicly brand new. we have a year supply of pads for it. there is nothing with it.
thanks, bill :-D

I think you'll find that these are highly individualised and calibrated to each user's gait, tone, nerves, ect. It would be next to impossible for one person to use another's walkaide without adjustments by a trained Walkaide technician. Why not go back to where you purchased it from and see if they'll offer you at least a partial refund?

i tried going back to the place where i purchased it and they said they would talk with the walk aide tech to see what they can do. i know it is calibrated to each individual but it can be reprogrammed. i know i am in a tight spot but i am trying to find alternatives with this. thanks for the reply

What you can do is find a walk aid technician and see how much they would charge to recalibrate the walkaide for another user so you have l the necessary info to hand when you sell it. I would then visit as many MS forums as I could find (ie, Daily Strength) and publicize the WA you have on offer.

For those who have bought walkaide's off of someone else, who did you contact to get it personalized for the new user? Any feedback or info would be much appreciated!! thanks!
