Comments Sought for Development of MS Guideline

The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) seeks comments to be used in developing new guideline recommendations for how vaccines may affect the start and progression of multiple sclerosis (MS).

I object only to the statement that "MS is a chronic immune-mediated autoimmune disease of the CNS, with inflammatory and degenerative mechanisms operating over 12 the disease course (5)." It is usually better stated that MS is a disease of unknown etiology but is believed to be a chronic immune-mediated yada yada.
After that it's all about vaccines and infection affecting MS, and I've heard advice going both ways, but I've always gotten my flu shot for example thinking any effect from the vaccine would not be as bad as the effect from having the flu.
