Social Security Tribunal – was CPP-D

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Social Security Tribunal – was CPP-D

Post by Barry »

I'm at the SST General Division appeal stage of the game and a year into the fun. After some cog testing in the summer, I got a letter from a neuro and test results that pretty much spell out that I'm 'severe' and 'prolonged'. Is it OK to name drop good neuros?

My rose coloured glasses make me hope that someone will understand they're beat and not do a hearing.

While looking for any info on SST that's not on a gov't site, I found this blog:

http://www.dcac.ca/blog/

Obviously they have a financial interest in this. That aside things don't sound like they're going well.

I can vouch for having to wait 3-5 days for a return call attempting to find out if they've received documents. I haven't had one piece of mail from them and have been dealing with them since May.

Anybody else out there have any SST experience?

To my fellow Canucks, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
I run a fun little forum site – www.CanadiansTalk.net – check it out. You don't have to be
a Canuck. :)
