Yeah, tts Prozac...and within range of recommended dosage....

Some people on thisisms must already be taking prozac for depression or fatigue. Any comment?

This is the kind of research (inexpensive and accessible therapy with relatively good safety profile ) that seems to disappear after phase I or end up in phase II with copaxone or other.

I noticed that this Abstract says that N-acetylaspartate (NAA) is a good thing, but they measure the NAA / creatine ratio. This implies to me that Creatine is a bad thing.

Is Creatine a known bad thing for MS?

I just tried it for a month (20mg/day). I plotted the time I took it for, and the continuation of my graph while on and after taking it. It would appear that it may of helped. Its enough for me to consider trying it again. I didnt take it for depression.

The reason I started taking it was because of the study I linked in this thread:
http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-2962.html

General comments on it:
The first day, I noticed a boost in energy (Amphetamine type effect). But I can only really say I noticed this on the first day, a few hours after taking it.

All the time I was on it, it felt like i was not sleeping properly. I awoke, and was still tired.

My mood didnt seem to be altered. I would of hated to have been taking this for depression. However, I told my doc, and he said that if you are not serotonin depleted, chances are it will make you feel neuseated and increase anxiety.

Ok, I think this page helps explain why they measured NAA
http://jnnp.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/63/6/736
The predominant component of the NA peak is NAA, an amino acid of unknown function which has been shown in experimental studies on neonatal rats to be contained almost exclusively within neurons.
