My so has been having trouble for about 4 months now, some of you may remember me posting not so long ago... (I've been busy with a new job so I haven't been able to get on here) Well for the past couple of days he has been having shortness of breath. Is it true that if it were ms related he would be further along in disablitlities. Or could he have developed that in addition to the dizziness, weakness, numbness, swallowing trouble and those kinds of things that has been going on for about 4 months straight now. Thanks for any information. :)

Hi
I think that posting medical questions here can be a little scary for you. I don't think that we have any Dr.s amoung us and even if we did, they can not always tell you what"s wrong by symptoms alone. A lot of things could cause shortness of breath. If you ask ten ppl they will probably tell you about all the ppl that had this or that diseaase and experienced shortness of breath. These are things that you should discuss with you dr. who can run the tests needed to determine what is wrong with your SO. We can only guess and that can make life very difficult for your emotional status to hear about so many things that could be wrong with him when it just might end up being anxiety or something. You should really talk to your Dr. as well.
I am sure you are planning to do that but I just want you to know that I could sit here and scare you to death listing off a bunch of things that can cause shortness of breath and I just don't think that it would be good for you or help you in anyway at all.
