Ian,

What are you going to be doing for two weeks in the hospital? I am thinking that you are going to be used as a guinea pig, but don't know
for sure.

GWA,

Thanks for your concern. Wed 22 - Friday 24 Nov - I get an infusion of a drug to make Campath even more effective. Monday 27 Nov - Friday 1 Dec, I get my infusion of Campath. I plan to read lots of books. Being a Guinea Pig isn't too bad, look what the experts can do for mice with EAE! The people at Cambridge are excellent and I should get my own room. And work won't be able to call me and there is no internet access. I also plan to chat with others having the treatment / coming back for their second infusion.

I expect to see lots of good postings when I return.

In the spirit of Christmas I have lifted my ban on Harry Z, so he can post again.

Ian

Geez, that's strange....I forgot that you "banned" me and have been posting for the past 3 weeks regardless :)

Yes, good luck indeed-- your posts give me hope during a very dark time in my life and for that I'm truly grateful.

Bob,

I've given up trying to find the clinical trial you are in on the internet.

If you get a chance please go into further detail about the terms and conditions of the trial.

Don't try too hard - you won't find anything. A multi-millionaire person like myself wouldn't want to mix with common people on a run-of-the-mill trial. On my trial there is no placebo arm, a private room and my own shower etc. Please don't send any books on worms or whatever your latest fetish is. The way you are going, you might end up being banned like your good freind Mr Z.

Thanks elaine (who must be British as you spell humour correctly), and connieb.

Harry, I did see that you had posted despite my ban - but as it wasn't in the Tysabri forum I turned a blind eye. Send my best wishes to your wife.

Ian

In view of your reputation as the MS Lothario (1000 + eh?) I think it only fair to warn the Cambridge nurses to be on their guard when you ask for yet another bed bath. Joking aside- I wish you all the very best.

MUU and co,

Thanks.

Viagra will be the first thing I pack for my trip - although, as you can imagine, Erectile Dysfunction has not been one of my symptoms. I didn't count nurses in my 1,000 - I'm not someone to boast!

I'm glad to see HarryZ is back, once someone has seen the error of their ways, I can be very forgiving.

Two things I want to see when I get back (i) less postings by Lyon, I have received numerous PMs about this and (ii) more happy postings by Robbie.

I posted in both areas....somehow I think that your "ban" of me is more of wishful thinking than anything else

I didn't realize that I was gone in the first place :) If I can recall, I believe that it was you who wrote to me previously and apologized for taking your frustrations out on me personally.

I do hope your session with Campath turns out beneficially and along with other readers on the forum will be waiting to hear the results.

Ian,

You will probably be posting vast amounts of information when you return. These two things are what I want to know.

1. Did it hurt? 8O 8O 8O

2. Did it make you better? :D :D :D

Bromley,

I'm so tired and dizzy during this current relapse that I only came to the forum to read and I had no intentions of posting anything. However, I have to wish you the best of luck with Campath! Hopefully we will be hearing in the future how beneficial this drug is for ms patients.
