Ian,

You were supposed to be a lab rat for two weeks with no internet access.

Did you get dropped from the program or are you sneaking out to access thisisms? :P :P

Okay, I try to stay out of the love-bromley/or not debate, but has anyone noticed how, while demurring any suggestion that he is trying to become the McDreamy of ThisIsMs, he has managed to casually mention that he is 6'2", an ex-marine as well as an accountant. Preposterous.

About as preposterous as a body builder from Austria becoming Governor of California! Or a B movie actor becoming President of the USA!

Happy for you to forward me questions on how to account for goodwill, or to identify the STOVL variant of the Joint Strike Fighter which will be used by the US Marines.

I'd be happy to set you up with Dignan who is taller than me if you like tall men.

I'd be grateful if you would stop sending me pictures of yourself in swimwear. You look nice but I'm happily married.

Now I know why I stayed out of the Ian debate. Would that be the F-35B STOVL? (friendly, smiley icon) And, not to be too-o pointy, but I'm Canadian, not American.

No need to apologise for being Canadian. But I thought you'd moved to California.

The UK is buying 150 JSFs, although issues about technology transfer with the US Government are holding this up. Don't get me started on defence equipment or I'd sound more boring than Lyon and his worms.

If you are in California you might want to meet up with Arron. You sound like you need some male company.

Ian

PS I'm not such a bad guy. Shayk and myself have sent each other presents across the Atlantic. Shayk can confirm this. I'd be happy to send you something - PM me your address (if you wish). It's only chocolates but they are nice ones. Same goes for you GWA.

Ian,

Is there any way you could send an 2007 Aston Martin Vanquish S over to me? It would be greatly appreciated!

Ian,

We lived near Cambridge for four years and I do miss a lot about the UK.

There was a chocolate that we liked, I think it was Cadbury. If you send me something, you will need to figure out what I could send you from Oklahoma.

How about an Oklahoma University t-shirt?

Right now you need to mentally prep for your rat lab status, so I will PM you after that challenge is over.

GWA,

I wouldn't send you Cadbury's chocolate. I work for the House of Commons - my office is next to Big Ben. They sell gifts which include chocolates. So I'd be sending you the chocolates that Tony Blair eats.

Send me a PM and I'll send you some when I get back from Cambridge. LJM may think I'm exaggerating, but I bought lunch for Jaded in the Palace of Westminster (where the two Houses are), met Raven for a coffee there, and sent Shayk a small bar of House of Commons chocolate and will be sending her a box when I get back. And sometimes I'm on the Parliament channel clerking one of the Select Committees - so you could see me in action!

Glad to hear that you know Cambridge.

Ian
