Very interesting, I may have to pay to get the full text for this as it doesn't really reveal much in the abstract.

I think one of the other problems with the EDSS score is it very much focussed on physical disability, there is much less weight given to sensory symptoms and even less so to less apparent cognitive dysfunctions.
