Robbie,

I really don't have an answer to that question. When I requested the autopsy just after Marg died, I asked the nursing staff to please notify the Pathologist of her long bout with MS. I also e-mailed Marg's neurologist (in the same hospital) that the autopsy was being done and that a message was given to advise him of the results.

On the preliminary autopsy report it indicated that Marg had MS for over 35 years and a detailed brain inspection was going to take place. What they actually did I have no idea and won't get the full report for at least another 4-5 months. I can only hope that the neuro spoke to Pathologist in advance and requested the information that would be most beneficial to him.

I'll let the forum know when the results come in. Hopefully they will have discovered something that could help the docs with other MS patients.

Harry

Harry,

I was thinking the other night about you, that you've had a rough year. Thanks for staying involved in the forum. I know others appreciate it too.

Hi Wesley,

Thanks for the kind words. While the huge burden of daily care has been removed from me, so has 32 years of marriage companionship. As each week passes, the hurt becomes less and less although I'm sure with Xmas just around the corner, some of that pain will be more evident.

But as they say, life goes on and with family and friend support, I'm doing as well as can be.

Take care.

Harry
