I just received this month's Prevention Magazine. There is an article in it about 3 women who used alternative therapies for their various ailments. At the end of the article Prevention Magazine is asking readers to share their experiences about using alternative/unconventional therapies via a chat. This is a great way to get the word out about any alternative therapies that any of you have used that you have felt have been beneficial to you. The chat takes place during the month of May. Their website is:

Thanks, Lori! Will have to check out the website and post.
Prevention Mag is the best. My Mom subscribed to it in the '70s, and treated my migraines with kelp and zinc supplements when I was a kid. It really helped. Prevention Mag. and my Mom were way ahead of their time!
She also breast fed her 3 kids, and suffered stares in public places. She dragged us to the health food store (with wood paneling and spider plants in hanging macrame pot holders) and bought us all kinds of stinky stuff. I thought she was nuts, but turns out she was right
Thanks, MOM!
Happy Mother's Day to us all!!

I fixed the link. I'm a link-fixer. Now you get to the discussion on the forum instead of being redirected to the homepage.

Professional link fixer? A great idea! I've finally found my true calling in life. Thanks cheerleader! I'll check out some online universities. But of course for thisisms.com I'll do it for free.
