Good grief, I am stressed and it is making me want to scream.

I work in the mortgage industry and things are coming apart at the seams. All this just make my MS go crazy.

Will I have a job tomorrow or not? Will I have insurance tomorrow or not? Can I find another job? If I do will the insurance cover my MS meds? What next??

Any suggestions?? Thanks for letting me vent....

CF

haha! your cat looks a lot like mine.
sorry i can't offer any relief about job questions - i have the same issues...
but as far as stress goes - it makes you pee out minerals. get your daily calcium, magnesium, and zinc. b-complex vitamins also help you stay positive. good luck!!

jimmylegs,

I do not eat right when I am stressed. I have not been taking my vitamins. I do need advice.

What do you suggest? My stomach is very sensitive (reflux, hiatal hernia, ulcers).

Thanks,

CF

Don't know your situation health wise but any type of exercise no matter how little or intense seems to help me with stress, even if it's just going for a short leisurely walk. If that's not an option you need to find someone to unload all of your stress on. This is only a temporary solution and you need to let them know before you do it :P

MattB,

Well, my husband took my baseball bat away from me and I have a sign on the outside of my office that says "When I snap you will be the first to go!" you know one of those Maxine sayings.

But, I will be glad when the weather cools so I can do more walking outside.

I'm with Matt - a short walk ewvery day can do you the world of good. Unfortunately I can't offer advice re jobs & insurance - not an issue in England, but I would recommend making yourself eat healthily and kep doing stuff - it's so easy to slip into behaviour that increases stressed/depressed feelings (trust me, I'm excellent at it).

Is there anything that you reaslly enjoy doing? how about making a little time for that to try and reduce stress?

heyaaa, all i can suggest is that i agree with the exercise/things you like to do crew, and if you can sort out the supplements, a b-50 or b-100 complex daily, plus 600mg magnesium (about half at bedtime, and the other half with whatever d3 you take per day), blended with 1200mg daily calcium, get your iron and zinc tested, also d3 (25(OH) that is), and i'll look into the ulcer issues - i thought they figured out what caused those... Arti,

Arn't you suppose to be running from a hurricane??? LOL

Mrs George,

Cats are perfection in feline form. Also, coming here helps to relieve a lot of my stress.

Thanks to you all.

Jimmylegs,

I am ashamed to say I only take 2 Flintstone with Iron a day. Chewable and easy on my stomach. I am sure this is not enough.

All your help is appreciated. I am going to look and see what they have in them.

CF
