Well I am sitting at home sick with some kind of funk that is going around. I need to be working very badly since the 31st of Oct is my last day of work. Our office is being shut down, they call it consolidation because that does not sound like closed and 5 people are losing their jobs. They want it to sound like a good thing.

It is not a good thing. 5 people are long a paycheck and insurance that they desparetly need. I don't think I will be able to pay for Cobra Ins on Miss Unemployment pay. I think the cobra will cost more than I will draw. I have a Dr Appt and an MRI next month.

The stress of MS, losing my job and my mom being in and out of the hospital this month has really taken it's toll on me. My defenses are down and I am very concerned about finding another job. bummer....

Thanks for listening.

CF

Hang in there CF. You have a lot of, let's call them "non-positive" things going on all at the same time! Take a deep breath and just start writing down your plans so you can check them off one at a time after you complete them. It probably feels completely out of control right now, and when that happens (and this is all just what I'd do for me) I just start writing down everything I need to do and then start executing the plan. I think it helps because it gives me direction when I'm feeling directionless.

All that being said, you got a lot going on and I also just want to wish you well!

Lew

I am sorry to hear about your troubles. Hopefully after the election the economy will turn around and job hunting will be easier. Best wishes.

Cat,
Hang in there. We're all sending good thoughts and prayers for you and you're whole family. Do you have any close friends, family, church, community folks who could help out? Maybe bring you some soup and sympathy while you get healthy? Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help. I know, it's hard (been there, got the t-shirt) but we all go thru it, and as my girlfriend once told me, "How can I be a blessing to you if you don't ask me for help?" My brother's out of work now, and his friends have been helping him look for a job. It's really rotten out there now, and we've all got to pull together. I'm hoping some people come to your side today!
best,
AC

Sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time at the moment. I will keep you in my prayers. Maybe it's tmie to break your usual approach and ask for a little help/support (I also am one who doesn't ask for help).

I hope thing pick up for you soon.

Amazing the difference a good antibiotic makes! I still have the funk but at least I have been able to go to work this week.

Also, my Mom is doing much better. I can't imagine my life without her. Having CHF twice in one month is so scary.

On the job front I have a couple of prospects and things are looking up.

Thank for all yours thoughts and prayers!

CF

PS: Arti, I hope you get over the funk soon!
