Discuss. If you've had it, tell me about it. What helped, your general experience, etc etc?

Mine is probably due to computer overuse (I do a lot of writing and use computer for other day-to-day stuff as well), not helped by taking up archery, nor by the right-side weakness in general (neurological - but I think having weak muscles might strain the tendons more?).

Have googled a little bit and gotten some general tips (ice, rest, anti-inflammatories, generic wrist exercise sheet). Am kind of interested in any technologies for hands-free or less-using-of-hands computer use -- don't really know where to start, and of course, searching around the internet only makes my wrists worse, lol.

Thanks in advance, I'll check in as I can, looking forward to seeing what advice you have. Oh and hey, happy new year.

Jen.

i had carpal tunnel not tendonitis. i had to start videotaping my lectures. also now when i use the computer i place it well back from the edge of the desk and support my entire forearm.
i guess it was maybe a b vitamin problem - i'd been slacking for a while there, and that's what they say is potentially useful for carpal tunnel. i still have a pinched nerve in there though and i wish i knew what percentage of my hand numbness was from that!
for your case i would think about doing a short term boost of the anti-inflammatory nutrients that are also suspect in ms. like d3 and magnesium and zinc. i know, broken record ;)

Not broken record ;-). Thanks! (And I don't know why it took me nearly a year to figure out that if it isn't carpal tunnel - clear emgs - hey, could be tendonitis, lol). I do need to be more diligent on remembering to take vitamins, right now I'm hitting about every other day.
