Hi Guys,

I had my 6 monthly neuro appt yesterday.
Nothing very exciting really but he told me that interferons seem to be much more effective than originally thought. Obviously i think this is a great thing to hear but have any of you heard this too?
He didn't mention any research or how he came up with that statement.
Is anyone aware of any research about this?
I'm unable to find anything.

Elly

I saw a new neuro today (another story, another thread). And he mentioned the same thing when I mentioned they were only 30% more effective. The little piece of extra info I did catch was that it was part of another trial, not the main arm; Campath maybe???

He is actually re-evaluating / confirming I do have MS, which would place me outside of MS, so I don't think it was the backhander talking.

I see him again next Tuesday, I'll ask for more details.
