NERVE CONDUCTION STUDY?

WOULD THIS BE A GOOD FIRST MOVE TO MAKE TO SEE IF YOU HAVE MS OR ANOTHER UNDERLYING CONDITION!OR IS THIS A WASTE OF TIME!HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS DONE BEFORE?

This was my first step in getting to the bottom of things. After that VEP, MRI (brain), lumbar puncture, MRI (C and T spine).

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THEY DIAGNOSED YOU WITH AT FIRST, FROM THIS TEST!OR WAS THERE ANY NERVE DAMAGE FOUND WITH THIS TEST!

as far as i understand it, they are looking for peripheral nerve damage before they get into central assessments on mri etc

Oh my goodness i had the nerve conduction study done and that was horrible.I was shreking and laughing at the same time!!Then lets me know that my doctor could of given me a sedative prior to going to be relaxed!!So next it will be my right arm so dont no anything yet about my leg!!

I hated the nerve conduction tests. I am a wimp though. Mine all came back normal.
