I don't know about gout? never had it or talked to anyone that has. I just thought it was ms related. Could you get gout in your calf muscle? I thought that was a joint issue? I do have cartlidge floating in this knee from football and calf roping, but that comes and goes and I can tell the difference. Thanks Bob

That's my almost constant companion now. It's spasticity in my case. Two muscles both contracting, instead of the one complementing the other that should be relaxing. Baclofen works somewhat, but it makes me so weak I won't take it except right before bed. Stretch A LOT. That's the only non-chemical thing I've found that helps.

yeah, I get that in my back when I sit for any extended period of time in an office chair. Takes me sometime to stand up straight after a couple hours. I found that if I get up and walk around for a second it helps. I don't know about this though? today it seems somewhat better! who freakin knows? It seems like every week it's something new! i hate this shit and I have been in remission for way over a year now.

Arti,

I get this too. Only mine is in my left foot and toes! 8O My husband call it my "Vulcan Toes" (you have to be a Star Trek fan and know the sign Spock did with his hand and made a "V" Live long and prosper). Well my toes do that "V" thing and it hurts bad :( :(

I don't know how you stretch your toes??
