Thank you for posting updates. I'm really happy your mom is doing so well.
I have been thinking of the two of you since your first post. I really like your matching dimples.
She must be so much more comfortable since the phys. therapist helped her to relax her legs. It hurt just to see her in that shape.
Wishing Mom continued healing. With you and you grandmother cheering her to victory, it seems like a given. Best to you all.

Update
Hey all, She's still doing well. Still gaining weight. My grandmother is talking about this new kinda of treatment she wants to try. I didn't get all the details but it is something to do with her spinal cord that will help her legs relax so she can hopefully sit comfortably in a wheelchair and we will be able to take her places and get her fresh air and stuff. I have a new video from last week but she was pretty tired and she looks it.
Will update more soon. My boyfriend has taken a more active role and has started taking me every Sunday to visit her, so hopefully I'll have a video tomorrow for everyone to see.

I am always glad to see an update on your mother, Cassandra. Thank you. I am also glad to hear that you have a boyfriend willing to take you to visit your mother on Sundays; although it may interfere with his weekend plans, it shows me that he has a compassionate heart.
I know that you and your grandmother want only the best for your mother – want to improve the situation with her legs; want to be able to take her out for fresh air. I get nervous at the mention of a new treatment – something to do with her spinal cord. I urge you to be cautious about such drastic treatment, ask LOTS of questions, get ALL the information, ask what could possibly go wrong.
More and more, I think the problems stem from the muscles and hormones rather than from the nerves or spinal cord or even brain.
Good luck to you and all of us as we continue on this journey to find a solution to MS.

I wonder if your grandmother is referring to an intrathecal baclofen pump to help with spasticity? Where I live it is only used for situations like your mother's. I have a lot of spasticity and it is awful. If something can help your mother's legs to relax and allow her to experience life more fully from a wheelchair then it is a positive thing.
