I hope everyone in the Chicagoland area can make it the health fair I'm hosting at Good Shepherd Hospital on Sat the 5th 8:30 to 2:30. I've got a great line up.
A nutritionist to discuss eating for fighting fatigue, and attorney to discuss protecting assets when faced with chronic disease.
A personal trainer that has MS will speak on fitness and MS
the the fun starts..
Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Adaptive Yoga, T'ai Chi, and Neuroplasticity..exercising your brain..
There are a bunch of interesting vendors there as well. There're also free bone density screenings, since most of us have been treateed with steroids and have reduced mobility.

1. Will anybody be speaking on CCSVI?

2. Will anybody be speaking on medical marajuana?

I would love to see you there (not that I know what you look like, but I hope to) No, no one will be speaking on ccsvi. There are no neurologists on the program, that is their topic. That was not by design in the beginning, but then as it started to take form, I'm glad there are no neuros there, the program took on a whole different color. There was much more freedom in choice of topics.
As for the medical marijuana, I'm sure that it would make for an interesting discussion topic, particularly in the afternoon, which is when the CAM folks will be speaking (and taking questions). In fact, I could do an informal 'poll' of the attendees if you like. I'm kind of interested in knowing myself how many have found symptomatic relief thru herbal formulas...
At any rate the wheather is supposed to be sunny, and we have free valet parking...it'll be fun to meet someone from the 'forums'
