Get a copy of your MRI images, make a Neurologist appointment and have him go over the images with you. Most MRI facilities will give you a CD with a program that will load up the images.

Radiologists can screw up reports. I had one completely miss 4 clearly lesions in my brain in 2007 and I was 27 then. The doctor went by what the report said and told me I was fine.

yeah I did that. the neuro said he sees where the radiologist said there could be a lesion, but in the mri after that showed it was fine. so he said it could have been a lil coloring problem with the film. he said that i actually was starting to have probably my first big relapse and since i have been in the relapse for a few months now, a new mri should show a lesion a lot better. he said I definitely got something goin on and it fits MS, but he is still hopeful that maybe it is something else weird goin on. probably not though

MarcusJ,

I just wanted to say a sincere thank you for your service to our country. Also wanted to see if you ever requested getting tested for Lyme disease? I don't believe any of the three neurologists that diagnosed me with MS did. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should request the test.

They have been testing me for tons of things, like lyme disease, copper serum, and other stuff i cant pronounce. good news is that my b-12 is great! i dont remember if i said this or not, but i am now anemic also. (ms has more prevalence in those with ms than those without). my MRI's are thursday, so i guess well see what is going on from there. thank you for being supportive of our soldiers. we always must remember, it is not the soldiers choice to be overseas, it is the choice of our political parties.
