Hi,
I am new here. I have a question.
What do you think. Can I start the Avonex while I have mild flare-up?
Thank you for advice

After 10 years of Avonex, I don't see why it should make a difference. Are you taking anything for your current exacerbation? If so, check with your doctor to see if there's a conflict with the meds. Keep in mind that the Avonex will likely make you feel a whole lot worse especially if it will be your first shot. With my first shot, I was essentially incapacitated for nearly a day, high fever, sweats, chills, etc.

Thank you for the advice.
I'm not taking any anything now but I think I should take prednisone
although this is mild exacebration.
I am very afraid to start Avonex.
After 10 years of Avonex how you feel?
