My name is Amie. I am new to this forum. I am 38, single mom of 3. My neurologist has ordered my first brain and neck MRI...but has suggested multiple times that my symptoms could be from MS. I just wanted to come and check out the forums and see what information I can glean. As well as learn the right questions to ask my doctors. Thank you for allowing me to join this valuable resource.

Welcome, but hopefully you will find out that you do not need to come back here.

If I was in your position now, I would be checking ALL the differential diagnosis for MS, and make sure he has ticked them all off.

If you have MS your doctor is going to wnat to put you on drugs. Might ask the doctor about the study done in England by the NHS. Check out the diet section on this site. Diet is the only chance we have.

something to consider - have a read of this recent thread started by a mom of 4, age 42. it's a couple pages of posts, but good info all in all :)

Thanks. I have my MRI on Wednesday. Won't see the neurologist until Monday, July 2. I'll update with what they find out. One way or another. Thanks again.
