I was diagnosed in 1988 with remitting relapsing MS. I was on Avonex and then Beta Seron until I moved into SP. I tried Ampyra but it did not help with walking and made my balance worse and left me feeling spacey. I am very fortunate to walk - sometimes alone, sometimes with a cane and sometimes with a walker.
