I am new to this forum also. I am a 35 YOA son to my mother who has very progressive MS for longer than I have been alive. I have posted a little something in the Friends and Family section about my mom too. I joined because I have quit a bit of knowledge of MS stages and pretty much the worst case scenarios as my mother has had pretty much everything. I don't know a lot about the treatments though; it seems like there are lot out there, being tried and tested. My mother tried a few in the 90's but due to her progressive MS, nothing was really working and the treatments were still pretty new.

My mother cannot get much worse other than MS attacking vital parts of her, so I haven't been on the boards much. I wanted to get on though cause I have been needing to vent and have questions about MS in the elderly. Plus, I feel maybe I can help some loved ones with MS with any questions or struggles. I have helped my mother since I was 10 and continue you still to today when I can. I am in the military and it becomes very hard to see her often, but I always all and make it home at least once a year.

I am will probably post another one in a different section, but if anyone wants to know anything about her case or anything else please feel free to ask, I am pretty open and am willing to chit chat.

Thanks
