Hi All,

I just wanted to start here and say hi. I am two months in after my diagnosis. After a positive MRI showing two lesions, I have been on two rounds of steroids and Copaxone. I've had some good days and some bad days. Double vision and headaches are the real nuisance right now. Additionally the left hand has started shaking, especially when exercising.

I came here to help in the education process. I figure there is a large body of knowledge here that can be helpful for questions about things like exercising and alcohol interactions.

I live in Northern California and work in the tech industry. Feel free to say hi.

Thank you,

Eric

Welcome to ThisIsMS, Eric.

Working in the tech industry, you will make good use of the "Search" feature here to answer your questions. There is lots of knowledge posted, even specific forums on exercise, etc.; but there are real people here, too, and if you pose a question we will try to answer from our own experiences and readings from the scientific world.

Eric, just came across your post and wanted to say hello. I work in the tech industry also in the Washington, DC area. I have been on Copaxone for almost eight years now and my Sister has been taking Copaxone for 12 years. Good news is we are both doing very well. I also do not eat dairy and take vit D to get my level to about 150 nmol/L. My Sister also takes vitamin D but has not modified her diet. Hope things end up going well for you also. Dave

Hi Eric, nice to know u.
There's a post here in general discussion by happypoet called Differential diagnosis of MS-very extensive list. I think u should read it to determine what treatment u should have. There's many other diseases that can mimic the symptoms and the lessions of MS (if i understand it correctly).
Wish u a good luck with ur choice of treatment n hope u'll find one that suits u.
Thank u.
