Hello Everyone,
My name is Carrie, I'm from Buffalo, NY, and I've been lurking on this site for a few days now (sneaky sneaky!), and decided to make it official! I'm new to all this stuff and, honestly, I'm still in utter shock that I have this piece of shit disease. This site has been a wealth of knowledge for me, as I haven't talked to any other MS'rs at all. My neuro basically made the diagnosis and said "You have no restrictions, live as normally as possible." WHAT?!?!?!?!? 8O Ummmm...okay. I've been busying myself with making changes in my life, and really they're not entirely all bad changes- learning to take it easy, prioritizing etc...Ironically, since my dx, I'm in the best shape I have been for years! That actually blows people's minds, which I love. :)
Well anyhoo, seems like there's alot of good things happening/coming down the pipeline for MS, lets hope they keep 'em coming!
